We did our E pics at the fair last year and had a blast!!  I have some in my planning bio.

Oh I was just asking. Since I teach history, I'm out there quite a bit because of the historical buildings and museums. But I guess if it's a TTD, you wouldn't be using the buildings. Sorry, I should have thought about that.

I never understood why places get mad about pro photographers taking pictures in their buildings.  Especially a public place like the fair grounds.  People are going to be taking each other's pictures all the time.  Are you going to charge them for each and every picture you take?

For me, when I first read it, I instantly thought about all the stuff they have on display in the buildings. I thought it might cause a problem if you were trying to take some pictures with the buildings being so full of guests. But then I went back and re-read the original post and realized I totally missed the TTD part. I guess there isn't much you can use to TTD inside the buildings. It was my mistake for reading too fast. And my mistake obviously caused talk on the FFF today, so I will go back to lingering in the background. People can't attack you when you stay in the background. Sorry Jess for misunderstanding your post. I think TTD and e-pics would be wonderful out there.

They're going to either have signs up that say "No Photographs" in the buildings or security nazis being mean.

Yup, when we went to Fellowship Church in Grapevine, we were taking pictures of a group of us together and the police man walked over and said no pictures inside, please delete that picture.  I was like AT CHURCH???  Crazy!

I avoid Fellowship when at all possible.

I liked it when I was single because they had a lot of activities for single people.  I also met Justin there so it will forever be a special place to me....but we don't go there now.  We switched to a different church that is less of a "seekers" church and provides more substance in their ministry.  I still think it's a good place for singles though.

From what I see, a lot of people that I know who go there only go there because it's more of a social thing.  That they only go there to see their friends.  I have heard good things about their singles group though.

I completely agree with the single's scene, and it definitely attracts youth also.   It's better the youth go there than not to church at all, don't get me wrong...

Agreed Julie!  I can remember thinking "is it really ok that we go to church as a singles group, go to dinner, and then hit the clubs until 2 AM or later?"  It was just kinda funny that my bar hoping friends were my church friends...LOL  I'm still good friends with a lot of them though....but we've all grown up a little and calmed down a lot!

If they're not getting anything out of it, then I don't understand going.  I know a few who "go" to Fellowship who do things that I have never even done (vandalism, drugs, etc).  You might go but that doesn't mean jack considering the things you do.
