[QUOTE]Steph. You have more posts in the past 5 months than I do since I signed up. I wonder how many you would have on your old sn

<div>I think the post count that shows on TK now includes TB? My post count on TB is lower- like 1400 or something.  My old sn had like 18,000? (ETA: I was posting under this sn on TB while posting on TK under my old one, too, so that's where a lot of these posts are from.)</div><div>
</div><div>boobs- if you counted how many words you use in each post, you would totally kick ass on wordiness. I bet you've posted more words than even ricks. </div>

Edie - cute cat!  I know it's too soon for us to think about another pet, but damn I miss my little Bo cat.  Other cat seems depressed and lonely.

Spent most of afternoon and part of the evening with H at the ER.  We are no wiser at discharge than we were going in.  All they ruled out was a heart attack and blood clots, which is good but we don't know what caused the symptoms in the first place.  He will need a stress test though because a cardiac event was not totally ruled out.  Police brought in Crazy Guy while we were there and I heard the F word more in the one hour before he was sedated than I think I have heard in my entire life.

[QUOTE]Marrin, I was actually surprised also.  We only put our cat to sleep about two months ago. I hope they figure out what's wrong with your H.

Edie - H would really like a dog, but he says our schedules don't allow for one.  He is in and out of the house all of the time, and I work different shifts so really the dog would not be alone for 8 hours at a time like it would if we both worked 9 - 5 jobs.  He'd like a German Shepherd since that's what he was used to growing up.  I'm so-so about it but agreed as long as it would be a rescue.  We'll see.  Yeh, I hope we get to the bottom of H's problem.  I seem to bring cardiac problems to the men I marry LOL.

  • I think I've mentioned it on here before, but our dumbass neighbors now have pigeons.  They enclosed the area under their deck and are keeping godknowshowmany nasty, dirty pigeons under there.  No big deal, right? Except they are noisy little fuckers! I keep hearing random noises and getting freaked out. Only to remember my neighbors are harboring the bird equivalent of sewage rats in their backyard.

In case you can't think of what pigeons sound like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSpAlQLisrI
  • Why would you keep pigeons??

Is he planning on sending secret messages across kingdoms?

  • They can also carry diseases Steph.  Equivalent of sewage rats indeed!
  • I think I'm going to call the city on them. I bet they don't have them licensed.

Who knows, Blue. They're probably going to eat them. A few weeks ago we were hanging out in our backyard, enjoying the weather. Then all of a sudden WHACK and off goes a chicken head. no lie. I think I was traumatized. H thinks they're keeping them for eggs? whothefuck knows.

At least they gave their dog to a better family though. (Apparently they have a friend who lives on a farm, so puppy got to go hang out there instead of living under their deck.)
  • Thank god about the dog.

Go over there and let those sons of vitches out. Just saw a commercial preview for a movie called Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Wtmotherf.

    Congratulations, YIO!

Marrin, I hope your H gets better soon and they figure out what happened.  That's scary :(

Acaponi, red velvet cake is like a slice of heaven.

  • I'm calling the city tomorrow. Yeah. I'm that neighbor. I found on the website that "*city* expressly prohibits the keeping of... domestic fowl and any animal without vaccination."  I guarantee you they don't have those pigeons vaccinated.

They're gross, and noisy, and they taunt my dogs everytime they make noise from under the deck. Plus, seriously. What if a bunch get out and my dogs try to eat one or something? Who knows what diseases they're carrying.
  • Pigeons lived in the barn at our old farm. My dad and uncles would use them as target practice.
