Totally unrelated: the man-boy who lives in the basement apartment started pounding techno music at 11am today. So FI sent him a txt asking him to turn it down, since I was home sick. It turned into such a big deal! Some people are so drama!! If you live in a house with multiple units, you shouldn't expect to be able to crank up music. Seems logical to me...

I'm late as usual, it's been an odd day and I'm ready for this week to be over all ready.

I have to bake cookies tonight, they are already mixed I just have to ball and dredge them.
Our Christmas party is tomorrow, and I have some neighbors I want to hook up.

My bedtime last night was 9:30, then I slept like crap, ugh!

Same guy plays video games constantly, so I feel like I live in a war zone. I fall asleep to the sound of machine guns and mortar blasts. I have so much baking to do... I get highly impatient after doing the 'rest in bed' thing for half a day, c'mon immune system kick in already!

I go to bed early but justify it by FI going to bed early because he has to get up by 4, leave by 4:30 and work at 5am. I don't start until 8 but leave by 6:20 because traffic here sucks.

Oh and snow...Seattle almost shuts down when there is the slightest bit. I'm from CA originally, so I think snow is great. But, I also like that I get to wear boots/scarves when it gets cold, there was none of that when I lived in CA.
I was in boot camp in October (years ago) and it was in Chicago...I fell like 5bazillion times trying to march in the snow.

I'm keeping my distance...it's for the best. I took them both (Brother and SIL) off FB months ago when their kissyface pics made me sick. It was overload. Also Brother got all pisssy that I got a new job and said something about it and didn't call him. So off they went. My mom said they're still on their Honeymoon. So nothing from either of them.

I took everyone's advice and didn't text them and have left it alone. Trying to be a big girl ;)

That also what I'm doing with my SIL- she's pregnant and seems to think that means the world revolves around her 24/7. On thanksgiving she didn't talk to us for the first hour we were there because we didn't go to her reveal party the night before because we were both SICK. I kid you not. She acts like a 2 year old, and everyone lets her do it, so she continues to do it, bleh.

Glad it's not just me! That's crazy - being sick and pregnant is horrible, so really, she should THANK you for not going and possibly getting her sick.

Mine acts as though she is above all of the back and forth drama but then adds to it with her snide remarks. I'm sure she will be pregnant in a week, so that will likely bring lots more fun and excitement...

haha- it's ridiculous. She's so rude and her family just lets her do it, on fathers day(my H and her dad passed away about a year ago) she threw a tantrum about how I kept in touch with the family and they didn't bother with her, and she posted this long fb rant about how it's not like i'm part of the family blah blah blah, and then when we finally talked after that she was like well it's true you're not legally a part of this family. I was like I've got to go.

wow. That's crazy. I'd be livid. Cudo's to you for not losing it on her. Lucky for me, FI's sister is awesome (he has 2 actually, one I'm pretty close with), so hopefully I should only have to worry about one nutjob. Hopefully that's the case for you too!

Wowza - the mess of posts I missed!

I am a reformed winter hater. Like I said, I was serously moving to FL two years ago, but ended up here. I used to laugh when people said it's different, but it really is. The wet, soggy snow doesn't exist here - it's the fluffy, powedery stuff that you do see in movies. Granted, it gets damn cold, but it's a dry cold - not the damp, bone chilling one. And I'm starting to love it!

We snowmobile, I cross country ski and snowshoe. I still think it's a pain to put on a bunch of layers to go out, and I have to take vitamin D for my SAD, but it's not at all what I spent years hating!

Have to finish the Christmas baking and finish some ornaments with DD. Other than that, creating a bedroom for DS is the only thing left to do!

Early bedtimes rock, btw!
