Budget

After getting together with both sets of parents they both want to help. They told us pick out what you want then we can talk budget. Would it be completely wrong to add more people to our guest list and find the top of the line in everything since they didn't give us a budget but want to pay for it all?

Re: Budget

  • Not at all, it is your wedding day, and you will remember it for the rest of your life. Speaking from experience however having a small guest list will make the evening more memorable for everyone because it is mostly the people closest to you, sometimes having a big guest list with people you see now and then isn't they way to go. It's tempting to want to share this big day with everyone you know but it will be much more meaningful in the end if it is mostly the people you love or grew up with. 100-125 people.

That being said it is your wedding and if they are offering to help cover costs and you really want more people at your wedding, then by all means maximize your guest count!

    Good luck and Have fun!
  • It would be perfectly fine to add more people to your list especially if its people you really wanted to be apart of your big day! Good luck!
