What do you think of this cake topper?

So it seems like a tiny thing to agonize over, but cannot pick out a cake topper to save my soul. I'm only having 2 tiers of traditional cake, the top tier to be saved for anniversary and another tier for cutting, and then the rest of the dessert/cake will be a variety of cheesecakes. But I don't like any of the cutesy cake toppers or traditional bride/groom toppers, and so far the only thing I have really liked is this figurine:

I was given a few other WillowTree figurines a few years ago in the hospital and another one from my FI's family before I moved out of state (we're in a LDR), so it's kind of becoming a recurring theme of support in my life. Do you think this is a nice topper?

I love it. I hate most of the cake toppers, too!  I would definitely use something like this if my cake were going to be bigger, but we're doing cupcakes with just a small cake for cutting.

thats really pretty! If you like those kind of things check out www.arora-design.co.uk. Go to categories and click on the "more than words" collection. I choose the "forever yours white" figurine to set beside my guestbook. They are heavy so they wont sit on top of a cake, but they would look really pretty beside it though. good luck and hope this helps.

I am also not a fan of the crazy, or more non-traditional toppers.

We had a clear glass heart with our names and the date etched in it.
