My venue has it's own caterer and will be doing the food for my reception. On the choices for cold displays during the cocktail hour it is priced per person. The site manager said that, for example, we can pick a fruit display for 30 people and a veggie display for 50 people, etc. So I don't have to pay per person that eats it, I'm paying for the amount of food. My question is, does anyone know how much quantity of fruit/veggie a "per person" is? I can't imagine it being a carrot stick per person or a whole platter per person either. So how much is it? Does anyone elses caterer work this way?
