Downtown Pictures/Candids

We have a "break" between our ceremony in Keller and our reception downtown and are planning on taking pictures with our wedding party in downtown FW. I no longer live in the area so it is really hard for me to scout places out. Do any of you locals have any recommendations on places to go that would create awesome photos that do not require a permit of any sort?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Downtown Pictures/Candids

  • Stockyards, TCU, and sundance square are main places I can think of. Are you or your wedding party staying in a hotel that evening? If so- you could always use that as an option. I saw a bride who was staying at the Omni Fort Worth (but not getting married there) and they took the pictures in the lobby area on the second floor by the conference rooms. They turned out beautiful.

Also- I *think* you can take pictures at the botanical gardens free of charge. The only place in the botancial gardens that charge are the Japanese Gardens (I could be wrong- you may want to double check the website).
