Keswick Hall

I was wondering if anyone has had their reception/thinking about having their reception or ceremony at Keswick Hall in Charlottesville. If so what did you think of it? Was it worth the money? If anyone has any suggestions for reception sites in Charlottesville or Richmond please let me know! My entire family is from there but I am not as familiar with the area. Thank you!!

    I recently went to a wedding at Keswick.  It's a beautiful location, the food is fantastic and the staff is wonderful.

    The only drawback is that the drive back to town is through a rural area with many deer and I would be worried about anyone who has had a couple drinks.  The rooms there are a tad expensive, but would be great for the guests.

    We have scores of beautilful vineyards here (I think we're up to 32 in the area) and those are very popular locations for weddings.
