I live in SW virginia, and need to find a place to have a reception/ceremony? I would like to have an outdoor ceremony, any ideas?

Which part of SWVA are you wanting? Roanoke/Blacksburg, or further west towards Wise and Bristol?

I'm near Roaonke, so here's what I know.
Maison Bellevue in Blacksburg is beautiful: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.maisonbeliveau.com/">http://www.maisonbeliveau.com/</a>

I've also heard Smith Mtn Lake has some gorgeous wedding locations: <a rel="nofollow" href="https://smithmountainlakeweddings.com/home_page.html">https://smithmountainlakeweddings.com/home_page.html</a>

I also googled <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.google.com/search?q=southwest+virginia+outdoor+wedding&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a">www.google.com/search?q=southwest+virginia+outdoor+wedding&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a</a>"><font color="#0000ff"><u>Southwest Virginia Outdoor Wedding</u></font>.<-- click link for google search

**Not sure why the google hyperlink ended up like that...

I'd say Smith Mountain Lake, as well! How far SW are you? WV is right around the corner too, with some beautiful places.

We had our wedding at Faith Farm in Green Bay Virginia.  It might be more central than you want, but it was fabulous.  I can send you pictures.  It is a very rustic setting, outdoor weddings only, ceremony is near a beautiful pond and reception is up the hill under a big white tent.  We had Mason jars with flowers in them and you can have them with candles.  I can give you all of the other vendors we used who were fantatstic (except the coordinator!).  The farm is just starting to get into the wedding business so they are enthusiastic and willing for suggestions (plus they aren't booked up!).  My bride arrived in a hay wagon!  It was fabulous, if you are looking for an outside rustic wedding.  It is a working organic farm.  http://faithfarmfoods.blogspot.com/. I can send you photos if you want to see them.

We are having our wedding at Botanical Gardens at BAKER HALL. It has a back deck area and inside area for reception. It all came to about $2,800.

I was married at Mariners Landing at Smith Mtn Lake in Huddleston. It was gorgeous.
