Catering

Hello, I am on a really tight budget for my wedding, but don't want to make the food ourselves. Any suggestions for cheap catering? guest list is 130

I am using D&J Catering and they are super good! Prices are SO reasonble. Def check it out. We were able to get catering in Toledo for 170 ppl for about 2500.00 and that was with a bunch of extras! So cut out all the extras and you could prolly do it for $1500.00 - $2000.00. (2 meats, Olive Garden Salad, 2 sides, bread, and veggie tray area. Also, coffee & tea).

They are doing favors for me too (170 Candy apples and 170 Chocolate strawberries).

From what I hear Inky's has really good catering.  No personal experience, but I have only heard that the food is good and it is reasonable!!!!

I know people often have BBQ to cut on costs.  I hear City BBQ recommended a lot.

No experience on Inky's catering, but I *love* their food.  I eat there at least once whenever I'm in town.

Malczewski's catered my Grandma's wake.  The food was delicious, and I think my mom said it was only like $13 pp -- not sure about their wedding prices though.

There is a place in Antwerp, Ohio that is really good, Wedding Dreams by Linda...she has a special that is 7.95 pp. You should definitely look into that. And her food is amazing and she has a lot to choose from. I'm using her for my wedding and she's really nice.

We looked into Inky's and the PPs are right, the food is amazing.  I was put off because I wanted to sign some kind of contract or get something in writing, and the owner said "contact us 2-3 months before your wedding and we'll get everything settled then."  I was NOT waiting until 2-3 months before my wedding to secure a caterer!

We used Dianne Westhoven in Swanton and her food is amazing!  We still get compliments.  It was around $11 or $12 per person and we had a ton of leftovers.
