QOTD 8/16

Are you ordering custom invitations?  If so, from where?  Are you using a kit and DIY? Other?

We used a couple of clearance kits from Michaels and printed at home.  They were gorgeous, easy, and inexpensive.

We bought all the stuff from a knottie that had a ton of left overs, then gave them to a very crafty friend and they are amazing!

I designed and made mine totally from scratch.  They turned out really nice and everyone has complemented them so much.  I didn't spend a ton of money on them either.  Our RSVP's were postcards I bought from paperdirect.com that matched our invites very well.

We just went through vistaprint.  Thought about making them ourselves, but I am WAY too much of a perfectionist and I would have never been happy with them.  We ended up not getting anything too fancy, but we really like what we have and that is all that matters.

I studied design & did an internship at a place in Dayton that did custom-designed invitations so I'll be doing mine myself for the most part.
Save the dates, invitations, programs, escort cards, menus (aka: all things paper) are things I can't wait to get started working on!

I got custom invitations from Laura at Letter Punch Design.  They were absolutely beautiful and we got tons of compliments on them!  We saved a bunch of money by having her design and print them, then we assembled all the parts.

My FI is a graphic designer, so he designed our STD postcards, & we printed from Vista Print.

He disgned our invites & they are getting printed onto cardstock @ Kinkos right now! :-) (finally!)

Our Info cards (postcards, also) were a basic design on Vista Print. They were not a high priority for us.
