So as many of you know, I have been training for the Richmond marathon in November, and I have been working on it for months. Well, I'm in pretty awesome shape by now and feel like I can complete the marathon physically without any problem. Trouble is, I am getting SO SICK of running that I'm going crazy! So, I have decided to switch my Richmond entry to a half marathon and go ahead and run the full marathon this weekend at Harper's Ferry, WV. My goal time is slower, but I honestly believe I can finish (hey I ran 20 miles last weekend, what's another 6, right?) I know this is pretty much contrary to every training guide I've ever heard of, but I'm not going for speed, and I have no problem walking part of it if I need to. I can do this, and then I can have my life back!! I'm so excited!!!!
