MyPlate nutrition break down

Ok, so how accurate is the suggested nutritional breakdown.  Just a Cliff bar and 3 Clementine oranges in a day is putting me over my suggested sugar intake for the day.  Am I really eating way more sugar than I should?  I love fruit, and I try to eat it as part of breakfast and for a snack, but every day I have MyPlate telling me I'm eating too much.

  • Honestly, as long as it's 'natural' sugar- ie, from fruit and not refined stuff- I wouldn't worry about it. I started losing weight like crazy as soon as I focused on eating whole foods and stop obsessing about calories and grams of sugar.
