About to order my dress! Any other Maggie Sottero "Abilene" brides out there?

Hi everyone! I'm new to this board- just signed up with The Knot recently and I'm very excited to have a community of brides getting married in Sept. 13 to chat with!

Has anyone tried on or purchased the Maggie Sottero "Abilene"? I'm 99% sure I'm going to order it but wanted to get some feedback. I always pictured myself with a more simple, silky dress but when I tried this one on the other day i fell in LOVE! Here's a few pics...

I tried on this dress, it's beautiful but it didn't quite suit my personality.

I ended up choosing between Maggie's Karena Royale and Casablanca 1975. I went with the Casablanca, but Maggie makes GORGEOUS dresses and I think this dress fits you very well.

This is definitely a statement dress - and if you truly love it, I say go for it. Loving a dress is a hard thing to find

I put a lot of pressure on myself with the dress - because everyone said "If you don't know, its not the one!" In the end, I just had to see if I could picture myself marrying my fiance in the dress. If you can picture yourself wearing that gown on the big day, its beautiful, and that makes it the one!! So exciting!
