We are stuck on ideas for favors and came across this, please tell me what you think!  A $1.00 scratch off instant lottery ticket in an envelop with a penny.  I plan on sealing the envelope with a sticker that says "lucky in love, our names and our date".  My fiance is not too fond of it, but it's the only thing I've come across that is different.

It's actaully not that different.  I've been to at least three weddings in the last two years that had this as the favor.

Remember that it is also okay to not do favors at all.

you could make your own type of lotto. Without naming the boxes your dj could play a game where everyone passes the favors around the table, across the table, even to other tables. Once he says stop or music stops with a rip in the music. Everyone can open it up and see what they got. Put a few $5 gift cards, put some lotto tickets in a few more, candy in others, and some can have necklace pendants or other things be creative. That way your not giving everyone just scratchers. See if your fiance thinks thats better.
