Candy holders

We are planning on doing a candy bar as the favor and I'm stuck on what the guest can use to take their candy home. We are having a summer wedding and I came across these strawberry baskets:

All the candy is gonna be in wrappers but do these seem like a good idea? They hold a pint which I figured would be enough per guest.

I think it sounds adorable. You are going to add more candy to the basket that just a candy bar right? Also if it's in the summer be carfeul on chocolate melting.

I think those are going to be too big, to be honest.  I've set up several candy buffets and the average amount of candy ordered per person is 1/2lb.  That won't even fill half of that strawberry basket.   You may have guests filling the bakset to the top, and you risk running out of candy.

Also, I find that people tend to prefer something with a handle.  When they leave your wedding, they'll have coats/sweaters, a purse, program, a piece of cake, and then they'll have to balance a basket on top of all that.  It's a cute idea, but not very practical.  Sorry.

I agree with pp, we are also having a candy bar and we were able to find bags at Target and are going to print stickers to put on the front with our monogram on it and a thank you note!

Maybe you could have people fill up like a beach bucket and your scoops could be a beach shovel or sometihng like that. There are tons of websites that sell all different designs and sizes of pails/buckets!
