Edible treats are a top suggestion on this board.  Cookies, candies, etc.

Outdoors you might consider wedding bubbles.  Walmart has them at a good price!

What about some type of plantable favor like personalized flower seed packets. Since you are getting married in garden this will allow your guest to take a part of your inspiration with them

We're going for kind of a nature theme as well, and so we're doing a two part favor. One, we're going to have cupcakes, and then put the cupcakes in little flower pots. We found the pots for a quarter a piece here: http://www.foreverandalways.com/ProductDetails/flower-seeds-accessories/flower-pots/139-19-79.htm

Then on the table, we're going to have little bags of flower seeds. This is to give an idea of what they're going to look like: http://www.favorsandflowers.com/flower-seeds-wedding-favors.htm

Just something cute and inexpensive (less than $1pp), but going along with the theme.

For some other ideas/options, check out this site: http://www.plantamemory.com/index.html

They have a lot of plantable favors that are really cute, and not too expensive.

Sort of on the subject of plantable favors.  I've seen weddings where the centerpieces are individual potted flowers/plants and people can take those home as a favor.

I agree edible favors are the most appreciated!  I also love the cupcakes in flower pots idea.  I have an aunt who got married in a garden gazebo, and she got little metal watering cans and filled them with candy.
