Favors - seperate table or place setting?

Should the favors have their own table? Or go with each place setting? If own table do you leave a note stating to take two?  We are giving out Yankee Candle Leave tea lights (two different designs). Not sure where I should pu them so guests take them home.

Usually when favours are on a separate table, they're given out as part of the receiving line.  Otherwise, I'd probably just put them at each place setting.  Both are valid ways of giving away favours though.

I would be fearful that guest either wouldn't take the favors if they were on a second table or forget them. If you are going to spend a lot of time and money on the favors you want them used. We will probably put our favors at each place setting.

Either or.  I would either use the escort card concept and attach a tag to a favor as the escort card, or I would incorporate it into the place setting.  I probably wouldn't just set out a table of favors as free for alls with no names, because then I think a lot of people might not even notice or take them with.

Our favors are doing double duty-----they are margarita glasses (the signature drink is a margarita)....and so guests will find them when they first walk in at the escort card table.....a faux cardboard "lime" garnish will rim each glass and list the name of the guest and their table number....then when the guest carries them into the dinner area, a coaster will be "holding a place" for each glass at the table.  The guest can choose whether to actually use the glass or take it home first.

I would be afraid if they weren't at the place setting people would forget them.  But people forget them when they are at the table anyways, so I don't know how much that is worth.  I think the only they would work on a seperate table would be if they were right by the exit so people saw them as they were leaving.

I would either set the favor at each place setting or attach it to the place card. If you have them on a table by themselves people might take more than one.

I would put them at the place setting.  Another potential problem if they are on their own table is someone could take extra and then another guest doesn't get one.  I actually had my favor "stolen" at a wedding.  But it was at my place at the table so I knew someone had grabbed as opposed to thinking the B&G didn't have enough to go around.

Don't risk placing the favors at a separate table.  Just use them as place settings, and consider placing the guests' names on the candle or attached tag. Honestly, at one wedding, where the favor was shiny silver pens, I took 3 for me and one for my fiance!!
