Favor embellishment opinion

My fiance and I are having a late night breakfast bar to-go at the end of our reception, with assorted muffins, donuts, and Danish pastries (My family is Danish, and we love our pastries! 
I purchased little white bakery bags for people to load up their treats before they head to bed at the hotel, and these will serve as our guest's favors. Our colors are eggplant and gold, so the plan was to just put little, 2x2" eggplant colored cardstock tags on the bags that say "Thank You" in gold script.
I know people put their names and monograms all over everything in weddings, but that's not our style. A simple 'Thank You' will work, right? Thanks!
