"Breakfast to go" Favors

I wanted to try to be a little different then the chocolate in a box favor idea.
So I decided to do breakfast to go for the next morning. (Or late that night).
I was thinking about putting wrapped pastries/bagels, juice, jelly, coffee, hot chocolate maybe a box of cereal. any thoughts??

I think it sounds like a great favor but could get pretty pricey.

    Thanks everyone for your opinions
I thought it was a different idea for a favor.
I'm not worried about the money, so I think I am going for it. YAYA!!

I agree, that could be pricey. Check with your venue/caterer and see if they have a problem with you bringing in food from outside first. If not, I'd probably get a bunch of Dunkin donut holes, put them on a table with small chinese takeout boxes or cellophane bags, maybe with small boxes/plastic containers of OJ and a self serve pot of coffee with carryout cups and lids. You could put labels on the bags/boxes and cupholders with your names, monogram or a cute message.

If it's in the budget, I say go for it! What a fun idea!

Try www.Kelloggsfoodawayfromhome.com (this is what we use at work -- I manage a hotel) and we get really good deals on name brand (Kelloggs) stuff for our guests.  Have you thought of including maybe bananas.  I would replicate what you see at a hotel continental breakfast.
  • As long as your budget allows it, I say go for it! It's a really cute idea.
