How Many Bubbles?

So, we're inviting about 160 people to our wedding. I want my guests to shower us with bubbles as we leave the church (not creative but it gets the job done). I'm getting the little bubble tubes,

After putting 40 in my cart ($5 THANK YOU DOLLAR TREE!), FI said that that's enough. I know that exactly 160 people aren't coming and even if they all did, they wouldn't all want bubbles... but 40? Really?

But 40 is less than half your guest count. Don't you think more than 40 people will want the bubbles?

Yes I do. Which is why I plan on going back and getting more .FI seems to think that no one will want to sit through the Mass and will just show up for the reception. I'm thinking mayve 40 more, so at least half the guests will have them.

I think for another $5 y'all can swing another 40 bubbles.  Maybe even $10 for 80 more.  If you have leftovers, give them to a kindergarten or Pre-K teacher.

This is a great idea. Last year, I was at a high school football game, and someone brought leftover bubbles from her wedding and passed them out to little kids. They loved them, and it was a a great way to get rid of them.

I agree with all your posts. We have a lot of little kids coming to our wedding so I'm sure they'll appreciate the extra bubbles. I also have a little guy at home so he'll love them too.

I figured as much. I think FI just wanted to get out of the store already. LOL.

Oh, wow. I just realized I completely misread your original post! I thought your fiance had said it wasn't enough and that you were the one thinking it was. Haha! Sorry!

I am inviting 150 people (expecting 125 or so) and bought 100 tubes of bubbles at Michaels.
