    A candle might be nice. Lit? Is it an evening ceremony?Actually I think the Victorians carried candles, but usually in the midst of flowers.A friend of mine carried a glass heart with her, to symbolize giving her heart to her husband.

    Make sure you can have an open flame at your ceremony site if you decide to do a candle. There are also pictures online (google, or offbeat bride) of girls carrying feathers, fans, big seashells, or a book (like the Bible).
