Ranunculus flowers for January wedding

My fiance and I are getting married January of next year and I was wondering of ranunculus flowers would be appropriate? I'm trying to stray away from roses, is possible.

    You need to check with a florist in your area.  I think it is a bit early in the season for them.  you can get peonies if imported from below the equator......
