Looking for cheap May flowers?

My FI and I are on a really tight budget and were looking for Cheap Flowers.  We need these flowers in May so I was thinking if they bloom in May it would cheaper.  Im just not sure what would be the cheapest combo.  Anyone have ideas?

    You can get most flowers year round.  So you might do better to just pick a color, and go with whatever flowers will be most abundant in may.

    Roses, carnations, pom poms, daisies, alstromerias are available in almost any floral department year round, in a variety of colors, and are reasonably priced.
