Has anyone gone the "order flowers yourself" route? I'm doing relatively simple centerpieces, and rather than paying out the rear for flowers from the florist who's doing our bouquets I've been considering buying bulk flowers and just arranging it myself.
Mainly I'm curious about what condition the flowers arrived in and if you had any order issues. I'm considering ordering from bunchesdirect.com since I can supposedly get the mums I want for $5 a bunch, with 6 - 8 stems in a bunch.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
