Son/daughter dance...weird song?

Do you think Brad Paisley's song "he didn't have to be" by brad paisley would be weird?  It's not really a mom/son dance but this song has alot of special meaning to me because my FI is SUCH a great soon to be dad to my son (11).  Not sure where to play it if not for our dance.

    Hi, OMG I just love that song! I've been looking for a song for me and my son. He is 12 and this is my second marriage. My fiance is such a wonderful dad and does more than there father. This is a wonderful song! I would say play it!
