Violinist to play during Wedding

We are needing a violinist to play a few songs during our wedding ceremony. Does anyone have suggestions on where to find one in the Des Moines area? I have already posted an ad on Craigslist.

Any help is greatly appreciated Laughing

    Try the University, my cousin found a faculty member at the local university play at her wedding, and then had a string quartet that the faculty member was in play for the reception.  They were fantastic.  If you can't find a faculty member, they might be able to recommend a student.

    I'm currently a student at UW Platteville majoring in Music Education, and play the violin. If you are looking for a violinist my professor Paul Price-Brenner is an excellent violinist. If you are looking for a string quartet, he is in one called The Kipperton String Quartet. They are actually playing for my wedding as well. If you are interested let me know and I will give their contact info.
