My DF and I have a mutual friend who we are not incredibly close to who omer asked to play acoustic guitar for the cocktail hour. We have 100 guests, but about 25 of them will be taking pictures with us during this time. Our friend has a wide repertoire of music, including classical guitar he studied that in college.
I want to know...if he has a mic and such, will this be efficient sound? The cocktail hour is in a separate area from the reception and we will also have a photo booth for entertainment. Also, what kind of music should I ask him to play? I am leaning towards crooners, since we are getting married in an old hotel that thrived in the forties.
