Wedding Ceremony & Reception Music Discussions

Music/Dancing

I was just watching "Four Weddings" and I thought this one Bride had a great idea....She had the Reception tables named after the playlist songs. When that song played that table needed to get up and bust a move.

Re: Music/Dancing

  • Personally, I don't think it is a good idea. Some people may think it is fun, but others will hate it and resent feeling forced or coerced into participating. If music is your thing, go ahead and name the tables after songs, but skip the game part.

  • Yeah, not for that idea.  I've been with DH for 21 years and seen him dance 1 time - with his DD at her wedding.  He has never danced with me because he is dreadfully uncomfortable doing so.  That would certainly make non-dancers feel singled out.
