Sound system for ipod reception

Hi all!
We are planning to do an ipod reception but I have no idea what kind of equipment we need!  What will I need for an indoor reception for about 100 guests and where can rent it?  Any ideas on how much a one day rental will run?

Prices will vary by area.  You can post on your local board, the girls there in the DC area should be able to help you out some more.

You would need an iPod and some speakers as the bare essentials, and maybe also some microphones if you need to do speeches.  From when I looked at rentals, to get 2 speakers plus a microphone was in the $100-$200 range for a day (to give you a general idea).
