Desperately Seeking a Band

Any recommendations for a band in the Santa Barbara area (probably even as far as LA) would be greatly appreciated!!  Ideally, we'd really like a bluegrass/folk feel (not unlike the Avett Brothers?) in the $1000-$2000 range... is this possible?  It doesn't seem to be at this point!  We are having the hardest time finding a good band!

    Try looking on gigmasters.com. We found several bands that we liked through there including teh one we eventually booked.

    Thanks so much.  We've been through gigmasters.com with a fine tooth comb.  I think we might be too picky... we're looking at DJs now and having a lot more luck finding someone we love in our price range.
