First Dance Song

My Fiance and I are having a hard time picking our first dance song. Any tips? How did you pick your first dance song?

    Looking at songs that where close to what we wanted on utube and then looking at the similar songs on the side that where recommended until we found one we liked.

    Our first dance is our song, which is "Feels like Home." We chose that song because, long story short, we had moved away from our friends and family for a while, and were feeling lonely. My FI had a lot of guilt bc he was the one that initiated the move, but we would always say that as long as we're together, we were home and we were fine. Then, I heard "feels like home" in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and was just really moved by it. FI was also moved when he heard it.

    Just think about songs that make you think of FI, and start from there.

    We knew we wanted a christian song and so we just flipped through songs and artists we new on youtube. We found a few of our favorites and then narrowed it down from there by finding one that really meant a lot to us.
