This song has always been one that me and FI listened to and thought of one another and I was just looking for opinions on if it would be an appropriate song for our first dance together? It's a love song but it talks much more about dreams and sleeping and whatnot.

Have you listened to Mark Chestnutt's version of this song?

I love Aerosmith but for a wedding dance, I'd take Mark's version.

I think it's a perfectly fine choice, especially if it reminds you of each other. Also, I prefer the original version.

That's your song, clearly you love it, use that one. (I may be a little baised as I am a HUGE Aerosmith fan)
