Wedding Ceremony & Reception Music Discussions

Bridal march??

I am trying to decide on my bridal march and song for my bridesmaids.

Currently decided on having the girls walk to canon in d, but I can't find any songs for myself! I don't really like the traditional march, but I know I am going to be using the pipe organ at the church.

Any help? Has anyone found any newer music made for the organ?

advice would be fantastic.

Here is what we used for the various songs:

Mother's entrance: Flower Duet from Lakme
    Bridesmaids: Rondeau by Mouret
Bridal Processional: Canon in D by Pachelbel and Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach

The suggestions above are good.  But you may simply want to meet with the organist and have him play you some pieces.  No doubt there are some good ones that were performed at other weddings that you may not have thought of.

You can also listen to some organ samples on this site.  Scroll down until you see the "Processionals" section.
