I just talked to the most amazing freelancer. She works in a portrait studio but had a successful business for over 10 years before she moved here last fall. She wasn't able to provide alot of photography examples because she's fighting for stuff in the divorce but what she did show was remarkable. She charges VERY reasonable prices, WAY below any other photographer and is super sweet. She's looking to freelance full time but does engagement, wedding, baby, family and everything else. She's just awesome.
I would fully recommend her. You can find some of her stuff at "Hopeless Adoration Portraits" on facebook. So worth looking into.
