AW Thursday

I have a couple of quick AW's this morning - I designed our invites over the weekend and ordered 10 from Vistaprint to see how they print out. I am so excited to see how they look in person! I also called two hotels last night (finally) to see about blocking rooms. The second hotel I called made it very easy, since they wanted to charge us for any rooms that went unreserved out of our block.

Is anyone else going to the Forumla 1 race this weekend in Austin?

I don't really have much here. The only thing that I have to brag about is the fact that I've almost made it through this week! Haha.

It's a little small but hopefully you can see it. I'll probably change the wording and capitalization around a little bit for the final draft.

Congrats! I AW that I made some AMAZING pumpkin brownies for our company Thanksgiving potluck. There's a hint of cayenne pepper, which I love.

This weekend is one of our Fridays off, so I have a three day weekend... BUT H has to work the entire weekend. Boo. I intend on getting lots of Christmas shopping done.

Does it count as an AW if I made it through my office's holliday card photo taking with out killing someone? Cause I'm pretty damn proud of that.

Seriously, I have pretty bad claustrophobia about people and crowds. I'm ok in small spaces by myself, but if there are too many people in my bubble I can't handle it. I'm still kind of shaking...

Those invite are super cute!! Carrie - hello mama's on a diet here and the mention of pumpkin brownies just made me have a slight meltdown..haha

my AW is we close on our house tomorrow at 2!! Awwww yea!! So long MIL's house!!

Those invites look nice and elegant. And I am very intrigued by the sound of pumpkin brownies. Where'd you get the recipe?

I have 2 AW today: 1 is I made peppermint bark for the first time, and it was VERY popular. I brought it to the internship to continue to impress them on my last week. They really went to town on it, but I managed to save enough to bring to my magazine production class today to celebrate being mostly done with the magazine. They also loved it, and there is only like 2 small pieces left. I think I need to make more, so the FI can bring them to work for the other teachers to enjoy (they got a little, but not much). My 2nd AW is that tomorrow is my last day at the internship. I figured they knew this, but when I mentioned it yesterday, my supervisor was very surprised. Fingers crossed that I get a job there and start making money for working!

Lynn - I hope you have a great last day at your internship. Since your supervisor seemed surprised you would be leaving, maybe they will take a step to getting you a permanent position there?

Ash - We just got our pics, too, and now we have to make our albums before Christmas. I have today off work so I guess that is my project today....
