We're planning our wedding around Labor Day weekend next year, partially because my entire family has to come in from out of town and partially because his dad's side of the family gets together one day that weekend as a kind of reunion. His dad's side of the family is very large, and usually someone volunteers to provide a place and everyone pitches in with food and they have a poker game. We're planning to provide the place and do it as normal, just also inviting the out of towners. However, not everyone from his family that would normally come to the usual reunion made it on the guest list for the actual wedding. Any ideas on how to fix this? We cannot afford to add more people to the wedding list.
