RE: Bridal Shower Ettiquette

Hi,

My first bridal shower is next Saturday.  There is a good amount of people who RSVP'ed to come that I havent seen in a while.  Is it bad ettiquette for myself, the bride, to be there to greet my guests before the shower or should I show up after the start time....

Thank you!

Stephanie

I don't know what the rule is, but I am always early to things, so I would want to be there to greet people.

As long as it's okay with the hostess, there isn't anything wrong with the bride being there to greet the shower guests.

I've attended several bridal showers where I did not know the hostess; it's nice if the bride is there to make introductions.
