Bride responsibilities at Shower?

I have my first shower this weekend and another next month.  My dad's relatives are throwing this weekend's shower, and my fiance's family is throwin the one next month.  What I'm wondering is, as the bride, do I have to do/prepare or bring anything with me to the shower, besides a hostess gift?  The invites already stated where we're registered, and I've talked to the hostesses about menus, etc. (told them they could do whatever they wanted or whatever was easiest for them).  I just am afraid of showing up and forgetting something essential!  Any thoughts or advice?

    Nah - you just need to show up with a good mood.  A hostess gift is a lovely thought, as well.

    You are going to spend the day being talked to and opening gifts.  Just smile and be gracious about everything!

    Smile, squeal with delight as you open each gift, and say "thank you" a lot.  That's about it.  Enjoy your shower.

    Ditto pp's your job is to show up and smile and greet everyone and thank them for coming. Relax and enjoy your shower, it goes by fast! Hostess gifts are a great idea, just a little something to show them that you really appreciate everything they did to make your shower wonderful for you.
