Finding blue argyle fabric

Hello!

FI would like to have a blue argyle tie (we both went to UNC Chapel Hill, and it's part of our basketball uniform - as seen here) for our wedding. It's, unsurprisingly, not an easy thing to find. I have been thinking if we can just track down a fabric that looks like that, we can get it made by his stepmother, who's a very good seamstress. Does anyone have any ideas where I might try to find a fabric like that? I'm not really good at sewing so I'm sort of at a loss.

Sorry, maybe I should have made that clearer. We've gone to pretty much every university affiliated store, and no one sells argyle ties. Hence me trying to find a fabric and make one.
