Shower invites

We are having a destination wedding so do we just invite those who will be attending the wedding to the shower or since it is a destination wedding we can invite those who won't be able to make it as well?

    Exactly what PP said. I think the only exception to this would be if someone uninvited planned a shower and invited people without your knowledge, all of whom knew they were not invited. I'm thinking, surprise work shower, or something like that. But of course, you could have nothing to do with planning this, or you would end up hurting feelings.

    The rule is that you only invite people to the shower that are invited to the wedding.  If you have people that are invited to your wedding but can't make it, it's still fine to invite them to a shower.
