Gift for Mother of the Groom

I am hoping you wonderful ladies can help me with some gift ideas for my FMIL.  We have a great relationship, but she is the type of person who buys everything for herself, and doesn't have any real specific loves or collectibles.  I am thinking of getting my mother a piece of jewelery to commemorate the occasion, but FMIL doesn't wear jewlery.  Her walls already have lots of pictures.  What did you get/will you get for your mother/FMIL as wedding thank you gift?

What about a gift card to a place that she often shops?  Also, I have seen lots of people give their mothers or future mother in laws the forever rose. which you can find here and on many other websites.
