my fiance and i are getting married in july 2012, so that's about a year and a half away. we're currently living together at my mother's sharing a room. we both work, but we're also both going to school full-time. i applied to transfer to the local university in the fall. so when we get married, we'll both still be living with my mother for about a year or so after we get married. possibly a little bit longer.
is it inappropriate to register for gifts? would we register for things that would be useful in the future? would guests be offended if their gifts didn't get offended right away? is it inappropriate to request gift cards that don't charge a fee for not being used for a while?
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)
