odd/unique registry

So, I need some creative advice on to be creative with a wedding registry.
The primary important is giving away our gifts.
Long story short-we dont need much, and what we want we buy. We've always hoped that this celebration would be more about giving back then giving to us.
Im hoping to recieve a couple ideas on how to do that threw a registry forum.
Any advice would really help!

    Check out partyspace.com and click on Registry10! They have so many different ideas for couples to choose from in the Philadelphia area. We used Registry10 and couldn't be happier with the corky gifts we received!

    Yeah, on the Philly board she posted about her favorite wedding gift through this site, even though she's not supposed to be getting married until 2013.
