I never thought I would actually be excited and want to plan a second wedding. But, I am! I am doing shabby chic, DIY reception. I have been collecting mismatched vintage china for a year. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, but now I know! I am going to use it for place settings. I have a lot of my mother's and grandmother's china and I have been buying sets and single pieces at thrift stores for about a year. I really think I can do this very inexpensively. The Church is of no cost since we are members. I am Greek, so we are having it in the Greek Church. The reception will be in our Townhouse complex clubhouse. Which has a really pretty brick courtyard, attached. They only charge 125.00 for the rental and we have access from 7 am til midnight. Anyway, the ideas are starting to flow and things are falling in place!!
