Since this is my second but his first i am thinking about a very small wedding for just close family and friends about 30-40 people.....would love to do a beach ceremony and a winery reception. Any suggestions in South Jersey? I am also thinking of just doing a very lite menu or almost just doing something along the lines of how you would setup a cocktail hour, just longer of course! trying to keep my total budget under 10k (ok stop laughing)

Perhaps you should check over there  <----- to find the part of Jersey you're referring to under the "Local Wedding Boards."  Those ladies may have an idea or two to help you narrow down location.  Good luck!

Yes, Renault!  I almost picked that place - but went with Smithville instead.  Both are great.  And at Renault - where else can you get blueberry champagne?  YUM!

Hi all--- Just got engaged and am brain storming! My second, his first. Thinking of a small wedding (about 50 guests) and wondering if (max) $10,000 is a reasonable budget? He is from Long Island and I am from Central NY. I was thinking of doing the ceremony around Albany so people aren't traveling too far. Anybody out there with suggestions about budgeting, invites etc... it would be much appreciated! Even though we are in no rush, I am getting nervous and want to start getting ideas. Thanks!

My second his first. we are doing 100 ppl on 7k (but im sure it is waaay different in your area) we arent doing it but parks are very cheap and I assume by the water/beach would be the same. good luck!
