Musics and dances

I was wandering what music you girls are thinking about to have at the ceremony (bride processional and couple recessional) and if you will have special dances other than the first couple dance? Do you have a special music or are choosing a music that hasa meaningful lyric?
Let me know your thoughts!

FI and I are processing up the aisle together.  We haven't chosen the music yet.  It will be classical, as will our recessional music.

We will have a first dance together (no other special dances, however) to one of these songs:

* Leonard Cohen - Dance Me to the End of Love
* The Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody
* Bryan Adams - Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?

Lisa50, my wife and I also had all classical music for our ceremony, processed up the aisle together, and used Dance Me to the End of Love for our first dance.  Can I just say that you have good taste?  ;-)

there is a new song out by Train called 'Marry Me'...we both equally and separately fell in love with it...we thought how perfectly fitting to walk down the aisle to...

Our first "dance" which is really going to be a first dance where everyone is invited is going to be by the plain white t"s....1,2,3,4

not so traditional, but music that actually mean something to both of us.....

I love hearing the music people chose.....

That is the song we chose as well!!!  The girls and myself will be walking down the aisle to it.  It's such a beautiful song. Brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it.
Other than that, we aren't quite sure about any other music yet.

The entire bridal party will enter to "Storybook Love" from the "Princess Bride" my FI and I get all choked up and teary every time we hear it.  Our recessional is something to get the party started "I Like to Move It" from the movie "Madagascar".  Our first dance will be to "Realize" by Colby Caillat that was the song we danced to when we first reunited.  We're entering the cocktail hour to "Tailor Made" again by Colby Caillat.

Everyone before me walked to classical music.

I walked to a song by Dave Mason circa 1970's called "Spend your life with Me" a special song to my hubby and I, and we recessed to Stevie Wonder's "You are the sunshine of my life".....

I agree, it totally brings tears to me as well...even more so knowing it is my wedding song.......I actually like a lot of the new songs off the whole Train Album....I really think 'Train, Marry me ' is going to become a "new wedding" song for the future.....for the non-traditional brides of course.....

the 1,2,3,4 song never meant that much to me until I saw the video...now,even if I hear it I get teary........I love how they tell the names, the story like married 27years....or at the end when he says...we met in Chicago...I wrote this song for her......

We are walking out to the theme from Star Wars - FH is a big Star Wars/Star Trek fan and this is a comprimise becaus I would not agree to Yoda, Captain Kirk or the bishop from Princess Bride being our officiant (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JG5OsfOuEy0)

We still haven't decided on a first dance song or his dances with my daughters and my dance with my son our our dances with our parents ... But I still have 17 months to make those decisions ...
