Shoe hunting. Argh!

I swear the shoe shopping is worst than the MOB dress shopping! My problem is that with an outdoor wedding, I need a wedge or a low heel/flat (NO spikes!)...and there is no such animal as a silver wedge or flat! At least not in the gazillion stores I looked in last nite! LOL So- anyone have any suggestions or online sites I could check out? If I can't find anything else, I'm gonna go with something in my closet! LOL 52 days and counting....

You can actually wear a spike or heel.  I can't remember what they're called, maybe heel guards, or something similar? Anyway, they're these clear plastic things that slip over your heels, create a larger "area" for the heel so you won't sink, but really don't show.  Lots of brides have ordered them online--I think I heard about them on The Dress board, or maybe the wedding day beauty board.
