I'm trying to stay very calm and not become a Bridezilla. I don't care what my bridal party wears or how they do their hair. I honestly want a GREAT cake and to marry my best friend that day. That's it.
I'm having a hard time waiting to name my wedding party! I know, I know. I AM going to wait until the fall next year (wedding's not until May 2013), so I feel like here is the only place I can come to just feel warm and fuzzy that I'm so lucky to have these women!
The custom of having people to "stand with you" in a wedding should really be something brides learn about. I have done some reading, and it has made me appreciate these ladies. I just feel really blessed to have 7 women in my life, in some form or another, that I want next to me when I get married.
That's a really wonderful bond. I can't wait to celebrate it! (But I will!)
