Feeling Sad, horrible hair trials

I have gone to two separate hair stylists for hair trials, and I hated them both.  My hair will have to be styled off site at 7:00am, so I am really at the bottom of the barrel in terms of hairstylists.  I have been turned down by dozens of stylists, and the ones who have agreed (the ones I have had trials with) are terrible.  The wedding is in 42 days.  I am thinking of just doing it myself.  Can someone give me some advice?  Did anyone successfully do their own hair?  I really could use some support here.

    I am having my mom do my hair just because sometimes it's easier for someone else to see the back and catch all the pieces...it really depends on your style though, What style were you thinking?

    The last wedding I was in we all did each other's hair....mostly loose curls and/or messy buns....real simple.  For my wedding I have a friend coming in to do everybody's hair.
